In this role you will be responsible for the installation and administration of Cisco switches and routers, Palo Alto firewalls and network management tools supporting the DC3 networks on different domain classifications of Department of Defense. The Network Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting, installations, maintenance, conversion, cutovers and sustainment of IT components. Maintain, support, and troubleshoot several classified and unclassified networks to include: NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS, and other networks as required. Creates, maintains, and implements detailed documentation and maintains standard operating procedures. Consultant for systems problems and solutions beyond the knowledge of technical tier one and tier two support staff.

\r\n\t\t\tDemonstrated Network Engineering experience, including understanding of LAN/WAN operations and TCP/IP concepts
\r\n\t\t\t- Experience with Cisco switches and routers
\r\n\t\t\t- Managing Access Control Lists (ACLs)
\r\n\t\t\t- Managing Port Security
\r\n\t\t\t- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
\r\n\t\t\t- Monitoring firewall traffic and configuring rule sets
\r\n\t\t\t- Experience configuring and managing VLANs
\r\n\t\t\t- Experience with IAVA, security checklists
\r\n\t\t\t- STIG reviews and implementation
\r\n\t\t\t- DoD 8570 Certification (Security + cert)
\r\n\t\t\t- Secret Clearance with TS SCI eligibility
\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\r\n
Desired skills :

- VOIP
\r\n\t\t\t- Working knowledge of the VPN and the Internet Protocol
\r\n\t\t\t- Security (IPsec) that enables VPNs

\r\n\t\t\t- CCNA or CCNP
\r\n\t\t\t- Experience with tools supporting the network infrastructure such as SolarWinds
\r\n\t\t\t- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
\r\n\t\t\t- Experience with Quality of Service (QOS) Functions
\r\n\t\t\t- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\r\n

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
